Personality: Praeda is a one of a kind. She is about as evil as an angel but has her own faults. She has one kind of a temper and never lets anything break down her incredible spirit. She is as stubborn as a mule and has a sarcastic humor streak. Praeda hates darks and has pity on none of them. By that, she will talk her fiesty mind and will fight if she needs to. Praeda is most certainly not the most incredible fighter in the world but has spirit and won't back down without a fight. She hates to be pushed on something and bows down to no one. The only way someone can get her loyalty is one who understands and respects her. Praeda will talk her mind and has very little tact. She has earned her fair share amount of fights and scars when her tongue gets her in trouble. Once in a temper, it will take awhile for her to let up. Praeda can hold grudges for an incredible amount of time and has a nearly perfect memory. She allows almost no one to see her truely kind and gentle side. Praeda loves foals with a passion unparalleled and will kill any horse who abuses them. That is her darker side. But on the lighter side, Praeda allows her sarcasm, roughness, and wariness to fall away. It reveals an understanding mare whose loyalty is astounding. She has yet to find a stallion who loves her for herself.
History: Praeda was born to a young mare who was the fourth mare claimed by her stallion. Amiciti was a shy female and very much in love with the alpha stallion who had claimed her. However, while he did adore her for her prettiness, the stag did not return her love. It was a good thing that Amiciti was distracted for two years when Praeda was born. Amiciti was, however, not that good of a mother. She allowed Praeda to wander around into dangerous places and situations before remembering her daughter and rushing to rescue the filly. One such occasion was when Praeda wandered off during a battle between two stallions for primacy and got between the two behemoths. The tiny filly was knocked unconscious and still has a scar across her withers where a stray hoof raked her back. Amiciti came flying to try and reach her daughter but the raging stallions did not give any room and poor Praeda was bloodied and thrown about until the fight was ended. Amiciti flew into a maddened fury and attacked the winner. Her flashing teeth and flying hooves raked him and blood flew as the exhausted brute tried to retaliate. Amiciti, in her anger, savagely killed the brute and ran to her unconscious foal, snapping at anyone who dared approach. No one did so until she had calmed down enough and Praeda came back to consciousness. Amiciti was ashamed and haunted by how brutally she had killed the brute and knew nothing else. She did become a better mother to Praeda and the two were very close. Praeda grew into a pretty fae who brought much attention from the men. However, her sharp mouth and negative sarcasm repulsed them. They usually left for easier mares who were more willing. This gave Praeda the impression that stallions are worth nothing and that she will never be truly loved by one. This pained her and she became more and more abrupt, showing her angrier side more often. Amiciti eventually left her for a stag, increasing and intensifying her dislike for them. Praeda has eventually relaxed her prejudiced intentions but is always on her guard.
Example Post: Fury glowed in her orbs, blasting light like a laser. She reared and launched a full-fledged attack on the startled brute who stood over a bloody colt. Praeda hit him like a ton of bricks, slamming into the heavier horse with an impassioned rage. Her stones moved faster than could be seen, bringing gashes in the other's shiny chestnut coat. The brute was so stunned that he did nothing to stop her. Then her teeth found his neck and the brute broke out of his daze and shook her off. However, she had the advantage over him for he could not move as fast as she and could not do as much damage. Praeda darted in and out, carrying herself easily on speeding pistons. She rammed into his side and bit down on his neck where the mane grew and yanked. His mane was reduced to rags in minutes.
The heavy grey ripped away. Blood dripped from a dozen scratches and gashes all over his muscular body. He had virtually no mane and had helped to reduce it by trying to pull away as she gripped it. He would have scars for sure. Bruises were already beginning to swell on his legs. Praeda spat at him like a cat. "Go to your hole. Even if you ever regain your "regality", if I ever see you attacking a foal again, you won't live to see the rainbow of bruises you will have. I'm sure they would be quite becoming." Her voice was low, sarcastic, and deadly. Her disgust was intensifying and it was noticeable. The brute fled, though with his bruised legs, it wasn't easy. It wouldn't be easy to lift them tomorrow, if she had kicked him right. Praeda smiled darkly. The hellion deserved it.
The angry facade seemed to melt away as she nuzzled the beaten foal. The poor thing whimpered in pain and Praeda whuffled comfortingly. "He won't touch you again, child. I promise." She told the trembling foal before lowering herself beside him and curling her lithe body around him. She would sleep there and let him rest before taking him to a lake or river to treat and cleanse his wounds. He would need it too. Praeda laid her head down on the ground and sighed. They got away with it way too much. Deep, deep down, Praeda wished fervently that she could have a mate who would love her for herself sarcastic nature and all. But surely that did not excist. She knew someone like that didn't. If she ever wanted to settle down, she'd have to settle for some stag who treated her well. She would have his foal and raise the child without ever loving the stallion.
